What: A set of three plastic cutting boards featuring a no-spill lip.

How it works: Raised sides keep juices and crumbs from spilling over the edge of these flexible cutting boards, making prep, cutting, cooking and baking far less messy. The BPA-free, FDA-approved plastic has been hailed by the American Knife Institute as “friendliest to knives,” said Ruth Goldman of Argee Corp.

Appetizing or half-baked? I’ve been using these cutting boards for months and have yet to find a flaw. The raised sides mean far less risk of cross-contamination when working with meat, since juices can’t escape. They also work great for helping take marinated meat to the grill, resting meat, rolling dough and serving as a mat for kids experimenting in the kitchen.
